These Terms of Use govern your use of entityseal.com and the EntitySeal service. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
The Service
EntitySeal is a subscription service that builds and maintains a verified digital identity for your business, optimized for discovery by AI platforms and search engines. The service includes a published entity profile and an EntitySeal Score reflecting the completeness and verifiability of your business data. The purpose of the service is to make your business findable and recommendable by AI systems.
The Free AI Audit is a complimentary tool that evaluates your current AI visibility and returns a score. No account is required to use it.
Accounts and Membership
You must provide accurate, current business information when creating your profile. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your data. Misrepresenting your business, credentials, or licensing information is grounds for immediate termination.
One account per business. One entity profile per account, unless your subscription plan provides for multiple locations.
Payment and Billing
EntitySeal offers multiple subscription tiers at the rates displayed on our pricing page at the time of your subscription. All subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method until you cancel.
You may cancel at any time through your membership account or by contacting hello@entityseal.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial months.
If your payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment cannot be collected, your membership will be suspended and your profile will be deactivated.
What Happens When You Cancel
When your membership ends, your entity profile is deactivated and removed from public-facing systems. Your data is retained in a deactivated state for 90 days in case you resubscribe. After 90 days, you may request permanent deletion.
If you resubscribe within 90 days, your previous profile and data are restored.
Your Data Is Public
Your entity profile — including business name, description, address, services, and credentials — is published publicly on editorial authority sites and made available for discovery by AI platforms and search engines. By subscribing, you consent to the public display of your business information for the purpose of AI discoverability.
Your Content
You own your business information. You grant EntitySeal a license to use, display, and distribute that information for the purpose of providing the service — including publishing your profile and generating structured data. This license ends when your membership ends and your data is deleted.
You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You are solely responsible for the content of your profile.
Our Intellectual Property
The EntitySeal platform — including its scoring methodology, optimization technology, data delivery systems, design, code, and branding — is the proprietary property of EntitySeal. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform. You may not attempt to extract, replicate, or reconstruct the methods, algorithms, or processes used by EntitySeal. Any tools or code provided for use on your website are licensed solely for that purpose and may not be modified or redistributed.
Credential Verification
EntitySeal verifies business license information against publicly available records. Verification means we confirmed the license number you provided matches a public record. It does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee of quality, or legal certification of any kind.
No Guarantee of AI Recommendations
EntitySeal makes your business data structured and verifiable by AI systems. We do not and cannot guarantee that any specific AI platform — including ChatGPT, Google, Perplexity, or any other system — will recommend your business. AI recommendation decisions are made by third-party systems outside our control. Your EntitySeal Score reflects the completeness and verifiability of your profile, not a guarantee of AI visibility.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EntitySeal, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable attorney’s fees — arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or any inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information you provide in your profile.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use EntitySeal to misrepresent your business identity, credentials, or services. You may not create profiles for businesses you do not own or have authority to represent. You may not use the Free AI Audit to conduct automated bulk scans or for competitive surveillance purposes. You may not attempt to manipulate your EntitySeal Score through false information.
Limitation of Liability
EntitySeal is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, EntitySeal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, business, or customers, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to EntitySeal in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in the State of California. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, provide false business information, or engage in prohibited uses. We will notify you by email before termination unless the violation requires immediate action.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your membership and requesting account deletion at hello@entityseal.com.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
